Leamerl (lovemment pleader for Fisheries has obtained written instructions, a;cording to which, the Govemment has accorded permission to r:ontinue allotment of fishing rights in the subject 100 I I acres water b,,[ies with the last year 2023-24 (i.e.. Fasli 1.133) rentals for one year Frrsli 1434 i.e.,01.07.2024 to 30.06.2025 subject ro the condition that an ,nconditional undertaking shall be obtainr:d frorn the Primary Fishennen cooperative societies concemed to the effect that they shall pay tlre enhanced/ revised rentals as and rvhen col.nmunicated by the Govem'rent. ,/ 2 W.P. 3. Leamed counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are ready and willing to furnish such an undertaking as required by the Government.

In view of the same, the respondents are diiected to continue the allotment of fishing rights to the petitioners and others in the subject 100 acres water bodies with the last year rentals till 30.06.2025 after obtaining an unconditional undertaking to the effect that they shall pay the enhanced,/ revised rentals as and when communicated by the Govemment.
