2. Ileard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Energu on behalf of Respondent No. 1, Sri N. Srcedhar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TGSpDCL on bchalf of Respondents 2 to 4 and Sri G.Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.5 _ Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Ms.Nikita Goenka, learned cournsel for petitioner submits that in somewhat similar circumstances, rvhiJe Cealing with Writ Petition No.2Ol21 ot 2025, r-his Court by ordcr d,t.t4.O7.2O2S directed the respondents authorities therein to release the service connection, subject to the compliance of the statutory requirements by the petitioner therein, and hence, requested this Court to pass similar order in the present Writ petition also. 4. Recently, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Rajendro Kumq.r Barjatga a. U.P, Aaas Eaam Vikas parishad 1 , in the larger public interest, issued directions in addition to the directives issued in Re: Directions in tLrc matter of demol tiort of stntctufes Relevant for thc purpose of this case are: "(iv) A11 the necessary service connections,, such as, Eiectricity, water supply, sewerage connecl.ion, etc., shall be given by the service provider / Board to the buildings only after the production of the :ompletion / occupation certilicate. (v) Even after issuance of completion certificatc, deviation / violation if any contrary to thr pianning permission brought to the notice of the authority immediate steps be taken by the saicl authority concerned, in accordance with law, against the builder / owner / occupant; and the offic aI, who is responsibld for issuance of wrongful cor-r1;letion / occupation certificate - shall be proceeded departme n rally forthwith. (vi) No permission / licence to conduct any ltusiness / trade must be given by any authorities inclr.rcling local bodies of States /Union Territories ii., any unauthorised building irrespective of it being residential or commercial building. (vii) The development must be in conformit,, with the zonal plan land usage. Any modification to such zonal , glan and usage must be taken by strictly tblloiving r 2024 SCC Ontine sc i767 ' ,i:'*1*t9a: the rules in place land in consideration of the larger i)ublic interest and the impact on thc environment".

Since the prayer of petitioner is to receive the application form and release individual service connections, this Court without going into merits of the matter, directs the respondents to receive the applications of petitioners and release individual service connections to the subject property, subject to petitioners cornplying with the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Rajend.ra Kumar BarJatga's case (supra) and the slatutory requirements prescribed by the local authorities.

6. 'lhe Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. No costs
