This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing th 3 Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the argume rts of Sri BALA MURALI Y, Advocate for the Petitioners and the Sri Jithender Rao Veeramalla, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent No.1, and of Ms Keerthi Reddy, Advocate for the Respondent No.2. The Court made the following: COMMON ORDER THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE TIRUMALA DE' 1 EADA l.A.Nos.3 &4of 2025 in/and CRIMINAL PETITION No.1 4399 of 2021 COMMON ORDER 1. This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 128 of BNSS, 2023 seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 & 2 in FlR.No.766 of 202,1 on the file of Alwal Police Station, Cyberabad, registered fot- the offence punishable under section 85 of BNS and Sections 3 & , . of Dp Act.
2. lt is submitted by learned counsel for the petit r ners/accused Nos.'l & 2 as well as respondent No.2 that during p,; rdency of the present Criminal Petition, the parties have compromis and accordingly, l.A.Nos.3 & 4 of 2O2S have t -.d the matter :en filed by respondent No.2/defacto complainant seeking l) .,rmission to compound the offences, to record compromise and [o quash the proceedings against the petitioners in the above crime.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has opposed the compromise petition and further submitted that in .I e meantime, charge sheet is filed and C.C. is also numbered anc the same is pending on the file of X Additional Metropolitan Magisl.ate Court, at MediE-ttHl. \ 2 ETD,) l.A-Nos-3 &4 ol 2025 n/ond C p-No-1d399 ol 2025
4. Since the parties were willing to enter into compromise, they were given a chance to settle the matter by appearing along with their respective counsel before the High Court Legal Services Committee for the State of Telangana vlde orders dated 07.11.2025 passed by this Court. The Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee shall identify the parties and submit a report to that effect.
5. Pursuant to the above said direction issued by this Court, the parties along with their respective counsel have appeared before the High Court Legal Services Committee for the State of Telangana and the Secretary of the above said Authority identified the parties and submitted a report dated 13.11.2025 stating that the parties were identified and they have willfully, without any coercion, entered into compromrse
6. ln view of the above, l.A.Nos.3 & 4 of 2025 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in FlR.No.766 of 2024, on the file of Alwal Police Station, Cyberabad, are hereby quashed subject to the petitioners paying an amount of Rs.5,000i- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the Telangana High Court Bar Association, Hyderabad and Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the High Court Legal Services 3 ETD,J t.A.Nos.i &4oJ 2025 n. 1nd Crtp No 14399 ol2025 Committee for the State of Telangana, within a peri I j of two (02) weeks from today and file proof of the same before the Registry.
