Judgment
This Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners – A-2, A-1 and A-3 respectively seeking to quash the
proceedings against them in FIR No.298 of 2010 dated 30-10-2010 of Suryapet Town Police Station, Nalgonda District, registered for the offence under Section 420 IPC.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.
The allegations against the petitioners are that they started a registered savings agency under the name and style of Ushodaya Mahila Podupu Society at Gandoori Complex, Suryapet and after collecting more than Rs.1,00,000/- from the members of its Society, vacated the Society premises and fled away duping its members.
The leaned Additional Public Prosecutor reported that investigation of the crime is in progress.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case where the money of innocent people is involved, this Court is of the view that it is not at all a fit case for quashing the impugned proceedings against the petitioners.
