2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleadcr for Dnergr on behalf of Respondent No.l, Sri N. Sreedhar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel ior TGSpDCL on behalf of Respondents 2 Lo 5 and Sri G.Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Rcspondent No.6 - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Ms. Nikitha Goenka, lcarned counsel for the petitioner submits Lhat in somewhat similar circumstanccs, whilc dealing with Writ Petition No. 20 12 1 of 2025, this Court by order dt.14.O7.2025 directed the respondents authorities therein to release the service connection, subjcct to the compliance of the by the pctitionel therein, and hence, requrrements s taLutory rcquested this Court to pass similar order rn thc present Writ Petition also 2 !-\-l

4. Recently, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Rctjend.ra Kumar Barjatga u. U,P. Aoas Eodm Vikas parishad. i , in the larger public interest, issued directions in addition rr the directives issued in Re: Directions in the matter of d.emoliti,tt of stntctures. Relevant for Lhe purpose of this case are: "(iv) All thc necessary service connections, strch as, Elcctricit5r. water supply, sewerage connection, etc., shall be given by the service provider / BorLr.d to the buildings only aftcr the production of the corr.pletion / occupation certificate. (v) trr,en after issuance of completion cr r,ificatc, deviation ./ violation if any contrary to the tlanning permission brought to the notice of the rruthority immediatc steps be taken by the said : Lr,Lthority conccrned, in accordance with law, agarnst the builcler f owner / occupant; and the official, who is responsiblc for issuance of wrongful comf letion / occupation certificate shall be pr-oceeded depa rtmen lally forthwith. (vi) No perrnission / licence to conduct any br siness / tradc musr be given by any authorities includ irrg local bodics ot' States / Union Territories irL any unauthorised building irrespective of i rcsidcntial or commercial building. Since the prayer of petitioner is to process the application form and release individual service connections, this Court without going into merits of the matter, directs the rcspondents to process thc application of petitioner and release individual service connections to the subject property, subject to petitioner complying with the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Rajendra Kumar Bariatga's case (supra) and the statutory requirements prescribed by the local authorities .

6. The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposcd of. No costs.

7.
