THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE P.SWAROOP REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No.5720 of 2009 ORDER: This Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.29 of 2009 of Nagarampalem Police Station, Guntur, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 420, 468, 466, 469, 423 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

This court already granted interim stay of arrest of the petitioners with a liberty to proceed with the investigation. It is reported that the investigation is almost completed. The learned counsel for petitioners submits that of-late the case has been transferred to Taluk Police Station, Guntur, and is registered as Crime No.54 of 2009 for the same offences and the same is recorded.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that the investigation and consequential steps on the basis of result of the investigation shall go on in Crime No.54 of 2009 of Taluk Police Station, Guntur, but the petitioners shall not be arrested till filing of the charge sheet, if any.
