Petition under Article 226 of lhe Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of MANDAMUS declaring the action of the 2nd respondent. 2. Heard Mr. K. Krishna Kishore, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services-I appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.l to 3.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioncr submits that the petitioner pursued B.Sc. MLT (Medical Lab Technician) course during November , 2OO3, and thus, she is fully qualified and eligible for the post of Lab rechnician Grade-ll. Subsequently, the petitioner was appointed as a Lab rechnician on contract basis vicie proceedings dated 24.1).2005 and worked as such, frgm 01.12.2005 to 3o.o4.2oo7. It is further submitted that respondent No.2 issued Notilrcation No.3 of 2024 dated rL.o9.2o24, inviting applications for the post of Lab rechnician Grade-II, and in pursuance thereof, the petitioner participated in the. recruitment process. However, the respondents a-re neither awarding the weightage points for her contractual service nor are they issuing an experienr:e certificate for the relevant period. As such, the petitioner submitteci her objections, which was arbitrarily rejected by the respondents, hotding that her Experience certificate was not issued by the competent authority. Therefore, learned counsel seeks indulgence of this Court to direct the respondents to issue the experience certificate and also to award the weightage points for the petitioner's contractual servicr:.

Learned Government Pleader for services-r, appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submits that the claim of the petitioner for awarding the service weightage points was initially rejected by the competent authority, as no records pt:rtaining to the petitioner's contractual experience were found. However, on further verification, the District Medical and Health officer, Hanumakonda / / I I I I District, vide letter dated 08.09.2025, has confirmed that the petitioner had worked as Lab Technician (contract basis) from December 2005 to April 2OO7, and requested to consider her claim for awarding weightage points for experience. Accordingly, weightage points will be awarded for her experience for the aforesaid period, i.e., Ol.l2.2OO5 to 30.04.2OO7, and the same will be updated in the Final Merit List, which is due to be released.

Having regard to the made submissions, this Writ .above Petition is allowed setting aside the impugned endorsement in the provisional merit list, in respect of the petitioner herein, and the respondents are directed to consider her case for appointment to the post of Lab Technician Grade-II, as per her merit in the written examination, duly awarding the weightage points for her contractual service.
