3. Heard Mr.K.Venumadhav, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.Syed Yasar Mahmood, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, represenl:ing the respondent No.1-State and Mr.Rajath Kumar Pradhan, learned cou n sel for the respondbn t No.2l d e -facfo c<impla ina nt.

Perrding this petition, the parties have entered into the compromise and, acccrdingfy, respondent No.2lde-frcto complainant filed l.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2O25 with the pr'ayer to permit them to enter into cornpromise 2 and by recording the setflement to quash the proeedings against ttre petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 8 in FtR.No.550 of 2024.

5. This court vide order dated 10.11 .zozs referled the parties to the High Gourt Legal Services Committee for identification arxC to verify the voluntarfuress in arriving the setflement. The secretary, High court Legal Services Committee, has submitted report dated 12.11.2025 stating that the parties were identified by their respective counsel and, a{so on verification of Aadhar Cards/ldentity Cards and the enquiries revealed that the parties have willfully and without coercion entered into settlemenUco m prom ise.

6. I have considered the submissions of the learned counsel and pemsed the materials on record.

Having considered the aflegations, the nature of charged offgnces and taking into account the amicable setflement between the partires ard to restore peaoe between the pafties, in the light of ttre di,ctums in Gian singh v. state of Punjab and anothey' and Anit Mishra v. state of ll-P-'; sfafe of Madhya Pradesh v. raxmi Nanyan and others3, this court is of the onsirjered view lhat quashment of the impugned proeedings in view of the settbrnent by exercising jurisdiction under | 2012 (1O) SCC 303 2 2ozq INSC 189 3 2otg (s) scc 6s8 3 Section 4,82 Cr.P.C.t528 of BNSS, 2023, would be in ttre interest of justice.
