Heard Sri G.Arun Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Government Pleader for Services-l for respondent No.1; Sri U.Shanthi Bhushan Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Telanga.na State Road Transport Corporation, for respondent No.2; and Sri C.Raja Shekar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Telangana State Police Recruitment Board, for respondent No.3. With their consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage,itself.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners possess ITI qualification in Mechanic (Diesel) / *t. 2 I Mechanic (Motor vehicle) and that they underwent practical training as ITI Apprentices in the trade of Diesel Mechanic, making them eligible for the post of shramil<. Further, respondent No.3 issued Notification Rc.No.279lRect./Rect. I /2o2s L7.a9.2o25 for recruitment to the post of shramik. As per the said ,otificatio,, the maximum age limit prescribed for the said post is 47 years. l{owever, the petitioners have already crossed 47 years of age. It is frrther submitted that no recruitment notification for the post of Shramik has been issued by the recruitment board during the past 11 years. Therefore, the petitioners submitted representations to the respondents on 10.1o.202s requesting relaxation of the age limit up to 4g years for the post of shramik and the siame are pending consideration. Hence, the learned counsel prays this court to direct the respondents to consider the representations dated 10.10.2025 submitted by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time. 4- Leanred Government pread.er as well as learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits that since the petitioners have already crossed the maximum age limit of 4z years prescribed rrnder the aforesaid notification, they are ineligible for #r.i-+-!_- I 3 the said post. However, the respondents will consider the petitioners' representations dated 10. 10.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance','vrth law

Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties and without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representations dated lO.lO.2A25 submitted by the petitioners, strictly in accord.ance with law, as expeditiously as possible and communicate a copy of thb same to the petitioners.
