This Petition coming on for hearing upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri Y.P.S RADHIKA, Advocate for the Petitioner and the sri Jithender Rao Veeramalla, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent No.1, and of sri sridhar Lonkala,Advocate for the Respondent No.2. JUSTICE TIRUMALA DEVI EADA .4 and 5 ot 2O25 in/and CRIMIN PETITIO N No.13534 of 2025 COMMON ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2A23 $or snort 'AruSS'1 seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.957 of 2022 on th-e file of the Ramachanpuram Police Station, Cyberabad District, registered for the alleged offence punishable under Section 49&A of the lndian Penal Gode, 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

[t is submitted by leamed counsel appearing for the petitioner/accused as well as respondent No.2 that during pendency of the present Crirninal Petition, the parties have compromised the matter and accordingly, l.A.Nos.4 and 5 of 2025 have been filed to record compromise between them and to compound the offences.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has opposed the said cornpromise petitions.
4. Perused the affidavits filed by the de facto complainant in l.A.Nos.4 and 5 of 20?5 which disclose that she has willingly consented for compromise. Since the parties were willing to enter 2 EO.t ob_r 35t1_2025 into compromise, they were given a chance to settle the matter by appearing along with their respective counsel before the nignl Court , ,1 Legal Services Committee for the State of Telangana wde orders datd 17.10.2025 passed by this Court. The Secretary, High Court Legal Services Commiftee shall identiff the parties and submit a report to that effect.

Pursuant to the above said direction issued by this Court, the parties along with their respective counsel have appeared before the High Court Legal Seivices Committee for the State of Telangana and the Secretiary of the above said Authority identified the parties and submitted a report dated 28.10.2025 stating that the parties were identified and they have willfully and without any coercion entered into compromise as per the terms of compromise.
6. ln view of the above, l.A.Nos.4 and 5 of 2025 arc allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.957 of 2O22on the file of the Ramachanpuram Police Station, Cyberabad District, registered against the petitioner/accused is hereby quashed subject to the petitioner/accused is paying an amount of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the Secretary, High Court Legal Servioes Committee, High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad and Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five 3 , EID, J &lp_|3531_2025 Thousand Only) to the Telangana HiSh Court Advocates Association, Hyderabad, within a period of two (02) weeks fuim today and file proof of the same before the Registry. 7 Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. / ,,TRUE COPY,, SD'- N.SRIHARI DEPUTY REGISTRAR (s- SECTION OFFICER To,
