Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No. 5 is interfering in the matrimonial disputes between the petitioner and respondent No.6 and is even insisting that the petitioner settle the disputes by paying a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to respondent No. 6. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking appropriate directions

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that respondent No. 6 lodged a report on the basis of which Crime No.176 of 2025 was registered on 14.10.2025, and the investigation is currently pending. He further submits that the petitioner's presence was secured only for the purpose of enquiry. lt is contended that respondent No. 5 has never interfered in the matrimonial disputes nor insisted upon settlement by payment of Rs.10,00,0001 as alleged, and that the allegations are unfounded. Accordingly, he prays for dismissal of the writ petition

Having regard to the submissions of the petitioner and the contention that respondent No.5 is allegedly interfering in the matrimonial disputes and insisting upon settlement, it appears that the issues involved are purely of a private and civil nature. Considering lhe same, respondent No. 5 is directed to refrain from interfering in the matrimonial 1 disputes between the petitioner and respondent No 6 and shall not, in t NlR,/ ll".P. No. ) 1977 oJ 2025 any manner, insist upon settlement of such disputes by payment of money. However, any action taken by the respondents/police strictly in accordance with law and by following due process shall remain unaffected bY this order.
