This Petition coming on for hearing,upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of SriC.HariPreeth,AdvocateforthePetitionerandttlr.ChallaSrinivasaReddy, learned counsel for Respondent No.2/de-facto complainant, and none appeared for the respondent no.2. The Court made the following: COMMON ORDER THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE J. SREENIVAS RAO I.A.Nos.1 and2 of2025 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.10 l7l of2022 COMMON OR.DER: This criminar petition has been filed under section 4g2 of the Code of Criminal procedure, 1973 (for short, ,Cr.p.C.,) by the petitioner/accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 1330 of 2020 on rhe file of the II Additional Junior Civil Judge_cum_I[ Additional Metropolitan Magistrate at Malkajgiri, for the offences punishable uncler sections 354-D and 504 of the Indian penal Code,

During the pendency of this criminal petition, at the intervention of well-wishers and elderS, petitioner/accused and respondent No.2/de-facto complainant have entered into compromise to resolve the disputes pending between them and filed joint affidavit along with I.A.No.2 of 2025 and also filed another l.A.No.1 of 2025 to record the compromise and to compound the offences. 2 J The above said applications came up lor consideration before this Court on 10.09.2025, and this Court directed the petitioner/accused and respondent No'2/de-facto complainant'' to appear before this Court on 17 09 2025'

4. Mr.C.Hari Preeth, leamecl counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Challa Srinivasa Reddy, learned counsel for respondent No'2' identified their respective parlies' Pursuant to the order dated

10.09.2025, the parties were physicaliy presented before this Court along with their original Aadhar Cards' Respondent No'2/de-facto complainant informed the Court that she has no objection to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.ll30 o12020 against the petitioner'

Taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances including joint memo filed by both the parties' proceedings in C.C.No.1330 of 2O2O on the file of the II Additional Junior Civil Judge-cum-Il Additional Metropolitan Magistrate at Malkajgiri' against the petitioner/accused are liable to be quashed'

6. Accordingly, I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2025 are allowed' Consequently, the criminat petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.1330 of 2020 on the file of the II Additional Junior Civil 3 Judge-cum-II Additionat Metropolitan Magistrate at Malkajgiri, against the petitioner/accused are hereby quashed. It is submitted that pending the above-mentioned case' a Compromise have arrivedatbeWveenthepartiestothis]ointMemoattheinterventionofour Apartmentseldersandwell-wishersofbothFamilies,whoadvisedthemtowithdraw the criminal case filed by the 2nd Respondent herein against the Quash Petitioner keeping in view of their long-standing future in the society'

3.Itissubmittedthat,inviewofthe.amicablesettlementreachedoutsidethe Courtbetweenthepartiestothis]ointMemoaspertheadviceofelderstolead peaceful life and as a part of compromise, the 2nd Respondent/Defacto-complainant herein have now decided to with draw the case filed by her in c c'No 1330 of 2020 pending on the file of Hon'ble I-I Additional lunior civil Judge cum-Il Additional Metropolitan Magistrate at Malkajgiri against the Quash Petitioner/Accused by filing appropriate Petitions before this Hon'ble Court. 'q' It is further submitted that, in view ork uoou"-^entioned compromise, both parties to this Joint Memo have no grievance against each other and as such both parties have decided to crose the case, therefore the 2nd Respondent/Defacto- Comprainant have decided to withdraw and crose thb.Case in c.C.No.1330 0f 2020 pending on the fire of Hon'bre II Additionar lunior Civir Judge cum-Il Additionar Metroporitan Magistrate at Markajgiri, by firing this -loint Memo in the pending Quash Petition. Therefore, this Hon'bre couft may record the compromise in the interest of Justice by allowing the above quash petition. 5' In view of the above-mentioned reasons and the compromise entered between the iiarties to this joint memo, both the parties wourd co-operate for the closure of the above-mentioned case in c.c.No.1330 0f 2020 pending on the fire of Hon',bre II Additionar Junior civir Judge cum-Il Additionar Metroporitan Magistrate at Malkajgiri.
