The petitioner made written representation dated 10.09.2025 and e-mail representation dated 14'09 2025 to the respondent University along with documents to consider him as a 't ocal Candidate' for admission to MBBS/BDS Course in the Medical institutions of the State of Telargana for the academic year 2025-26 in terms of advertisement dated L5 'O7 2025 ' He claims to fall in the category prescribed under G'O Ms'No 15O dated 08.09.2O25. .- I 1
3. Leamed counsel for the petitioner submits Urat the petitioner has studied upto VI class at Hyderabad. Thereafter. he studied Iiom \,/II to IX at Srinagar due to the appointment of his fat her zrs Assistant professor in Central University of Kashnrir. Srinagar, Janrmu ald Kashmir. Ihe petitioner studied ll'ont X to Xl at Hyclerabad, Telangara due to curfew imposcd in Kashmir. However, he could not complete his XI strutdard ch_re to CO\ID-19 pandemic. Therefore. tre studied XI and XII at Srinagar. Thereafter, he appear.ed for NtrET Examinations in the years 2023 and,2024, butfailed. He again appeared for NEET Examination 2O2S and secured Al1 India Ralk 201100. Therefore, the petitioner fulfils the requirement prescribed in G.O.Ms.No. l5O dated 0g.09.2o2b Hence. the respondent university may be directed to consider his representations.
1. l-earr.- ecl counsel for t]re peUtioner has relied upon an interim order passed by a coordinate Bench of this court in W.P.No.2970t\ of 2O2S dated 26.09.2O25 to support his case. 5 [-eerrned Standing Counsel for the respondent Universit5r at the outset submits that the relevant criteria under 3 G.O.Ms.No.33 dated, 22.07.2024 read with GOMsNo iSO dated 08.09.2025 require either consecutive sLudlr or consecutive stay, and not a piecemeal. Study for any period in Lhe last four consecutive years preceding the qudifuing exam outside the State is only permissible if the parent of the candidate falls in any of the enumerated categories undcr G.O.Ms.No.l5O dated 08.09.2025, which, in the present case, petitioner does not fulfill. However, he subnrits that the respondent University shall consider the representations nrade by the petitioner in accordance with law'

As from the a'r,erments made in the ''lrit petition, the case of the petiLioner is distinguishable on facts with the case o[ the petitioner in W.P.No.29703 of 2O25 in which an interim order was passed on 26.09 .2025 by the coordinate Bench. The petitioner has not claimed that his father was at any timc appointed and posted in Central University within the State of Telangana. The averments made in the writ petition show that his father was appointed in Central University and is ser-ving in I the State of Jammu and Kashmir. 1-_:-_- 4

Upon hearing learrred counsel for the parties, without making anv cornments on the merits of the claim of the petitioner. rve dispose of the w.it petition with a direction to the respondcnt University to consider his representations in accordancc with law, as expeditiously as possible.
