She is a resident of Hyderabad. According to her representation, she applied tbr rcgistration, but was shocked to know that a separate registration is required for admission into the said course under Management Quota 'B category. The date of applications rvas also over and the wcbsite 2 - was closed for registration. Petitioner contends that s re was utrder an impression that only a single application for r rgistratiotr IS enough.
3. Learned counscl tbr the petitioner subnt ts that the respondents rnay be directed to consider the represt'r tation ol thc petitioner in line with similar order dated 21.08.20. ), passed b1 this Corrrt, in other casc such as W.P.No.24560 of 20 1 ;
4. [.earned Standing C]ounsel for the University srumits thal thc last datc of applications lbr registration has been rlrsed and thc Univcrsity cannot extend the date. He submits that tlr r counselling process has commenccd since yesterday, after the rs;ue of 'local candidate' u'as decided by the Hon'ble Suprem: Court vide judgment dated 01.09.2025 in Special Leave )etilion (C) Nos.2l536-2 1588 of 2024.'Iherefore, the Universitl vould not be in a position to entertain the petitioner's application 1c ' registration lor adrnission to MBBS/BDS Course under Managerl t nt Quota 'l)' category. It would be a tutile exercise.

Having regard to the afbresaid circumstanc,' and upon consideration of thc subnrission of learned counsel 1:'the partics, - \ \ 3 we are of the view that since the admission to MBBS/BDS course has a definite timeline required to be adhered to by the University and the cut ofl dates for application or counselling are sacrosanct, there is no point tn asking the University to consider the petitioner's application for fresh registration and parricipating in the ongoing counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS course under Management Quota 'B' category. Thereflore, wc are not inclincd to issue any directions to that effect.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismisscd.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner subrnits that in case the date of applications for registration to the above courses tS extcnded, the University may be direcred to cursidcr thc application of the petitioner for registration fbr adrnission to MBBS/BDS Course under Management Quota 'B' catcgory

It goes without saying that in case the date ot'applications for registration to the above courses is extended, it would open lbr the petitioner to make such an application, which r.r,ould be considered by the respondents in accordance with law. 4 There shall be no order as to costs.
