Petition Under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pJeased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not closing the rowdy sheet opened in respect of the petitioner on 02-08-2013 vide rowdy sheet Nos. 2 of 20 13 respectively and also in exhibiting the Photographs of the Petitioner in the List of Rowdy-Sheeters Board in the Police Station of the 6th Respondent without issuing any Notice or conducting any enquiry, as illegal, arbitrary, violative of -7 principles of natural justice and also violation of Articles 14 , 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of lndia and consequently direct the Respordents to remove the Photographs of the Petitioner from the List of Rowdy-Shee:er Board in the Police Station of the 6th Respondent, and award damages to the Petitioners on account of damage to reputation for exhibiting the Photographs of the Petitioners in the Police Station. 2. Heard Mr.Chilpi Reddy Narsi Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Laxmikanth Reddy, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents-
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the rowdy sheet against the petitioner was opened as there were two crimes pending against the petitioner. However, during the pendency of this petition, those crimes were settled among the parties before the Lok-Adalat and as on the date, no t t crime is pending against the petitioner. Hence, continuing of rowdy sheet against the petitioner would be illegal. Hence, prayed for appropriate directions to the respondenUpolice authorities. t I 2 -ri- 4' Learned Assistant Government preader wourd subrrit that the rowdy sheet was opened against the petitioner as habituar oflender as he was involved in six cases which are Crime Nos.3g.l of 2013,73 of 2012, 86 of 2013, 177 of 2013, 172 of 2020 and 82 of 2022. Amongthese cases, Crime No.3B1 of 20'13 was quashed, In Crime No.73 of 201 2, petitioner was acquitted. ln Crime No.B6 of 2013, final report was filed endorsing ,false,. Crime No..l77 of 2013, petitioner was acquitted on 15.O4.2O14 and in Crime Nos.1 72 of 2020 and 82 of 2022, the parties setfled the matter among themselves. As on the date, no cases were pending agarrst the petitioner. The sHo on 15.08.202s addressed a retter to the commiss oner of porice for closing the rowdy sheet and the same is pending for consideration.

Having regard to the fact that there is no crime is perding against the petitioner and as the respondent No.6/SHO has already t,aken appropriate action for crosing the rowdy sheet against the petitioner, rer;pondent No.3 is directed to consider the communication of the SHo fired on 15.08.2025 and close the rowdy sheet against the petitioner forthwith.
