Ravinder, learned Assistant Govemment Pleader for Revenue appearing on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioners herein have filed the present writ petition to declare the inaction ofrespondent No-i in considering the representation dated 18.11.2024 made by the vendor of the petitioners and updating revenue records in respect of their lands in Survey No.l l/1, situated at Khanamet Village. Serilingampally Mandal, Rangareddy District, as illegal.
3. The petitione rs are claiming right over the saidproperty basing on sale deed dated 21.0i.19E5, r'alidated on 19. 10.2019. They have submitted representation only on I 8. I 1.2024. 'lhere is abnormal delay.
4. Vide the aloresaid rcpresentation, dated 18.11.2024, the petitioners rcquested respondcnt No.i to update pahanies in Dharani Portal as per Khasra Pahani Records in respcct of land admeasuring Acs.7.38 gunta-s in Survcy No. I l/l of Khanapet Revenue Village. The subject property lalls within GHMC limits and, therefore, it is not a" \ 2 agricultural land' Therefore' the provisions of the Telanlir na Rights tn I,and and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 2020 and the Teanganr l]hu Bharati (Record ofRights in land) Act"2024 are not applicabte'r the subject property. It is apt to note that Section - 3 of the Teangatu Bhu Bharati (Record of fughts in land) Act'2024 deats with 'non-app cation o[ the Sub-Section (7) of Section - I ol'the Act' Act, 2024 in certain cases'' 2024 is extracted as under: "(7) Nothing in this Act shall apply to Non-Agricult ral land in urban areas as may be notified b'v hc Govemment."
