5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that personal liberty of some of the petitioners was protected in some cases and in some cases, the petitioners were arrested and released on bail. He further submits that investigation has been transferred from CCS to Special Investigation Team (SIT).

6. The Hon'ble Supreme Court, in Arnab Ranjan Gosutami Vs. Union of Indiat, ard T.T.Antong Vs, State of Kera.la2, Babubai Vs. State of GuJarat and Otherss, held that on the same set of allegations, multiple FIR's calnot be registered.

7. Insofar as the incident is concerned, even the learned Assistalt Public Prosecutor admits that it is a single incident. Since the incident is one, there can be only one invcstigation. In event of multiple FIRs being registered, all of them must be investigated, ald a common report must be filed.
