Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Forests appearing for respondents No.1 to 6, I learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents No.7 and 8 and Sri K.Pradeep Reddy, learned Standing counsel for Gram Panchayat, appearing for respondent No. 9.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners has relied upon the possession certihcate issued by the Tahsildar in favour of the petitioners and has also referred to photographs hled along with writ petition to demonstrate that there is a cotton crop in the said land. l I I r

4. Learned Government Pleader for Forests subrnitted that he has no instrurltions with regard to possession of the petitioners. However, he submitted that due process of law will be follou,ed, in case the petitioners are in posscssion of the forest Lrnd.

5. In vjew of the above submissions of both the parties, this Court deenrs fit and proper to direct all the parties 1o maintain stafus quo as on today. If the petitioners are found to br: ir.r possession of the forest land and if the respondents are of tl-re opinion that the petitioners are not in rightfut possession of the for:st land, they are at libert5r to take aclion in accordance with law.
