A conseqrrential prayer is sought to direct respondent Nos.4 to 6 not to call the petitioners to their police station.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 6.

Learned Assistant Government of Pleader for Home placed a copy of instructions issr-red by S.I. of Police, Women Police Station, Begumpet, North 7-otte, Hyderabad, wherein it is strbmitted that on 15.O7.2025, the respondent No.7 has lodged a complaint to respondent No.S - S.H.O., Women Police Station, Begumpet, North Zot:re, Hyderabad stating that the petitioners are abusing and harassing her for want of dowry. Basing on the said complaint, the respondent No.5 made GD entry on $.A7.2O25 and petition entry uide Ack.No. 2 HYD/WPS/BGM/ tso725lOO431, dated L5.O7-2025. It is further submitted that it is a matrimonial issue, the respondent No.5 :referred both parties for counselling to the counselling center. Thereafter, on 18.09.2025, the respondent No.7 once again ,3&rn€ to the police station and lodged a complaint. Basing on the: said complaint, the women S.I. of Police, North Zorte, Hyderzrbad registr:red F.l.R.No.99 of 2025 on the same day for the offi:nces under: Sections 85 read with 3(5) BNS and Section 3, 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act. It is further submitted that the pel.itioner Nos.l to 4 in the writ petitiron are alrayed as A3, A2, A4 and A1 respectively. It is further submitted that during the cottrse of investigation, the S.I. of Police, Women P.S., North Zone, l{yderabad examined respondent No.7 - complainant and her mother as LWs.l and 2 and recorded their statements. tt is further submitted that during the course of further investigation, the Investigating {)fficers called petitioners for the purpose of investigation and lbr issuing notices under Section 35(3) BNSS. The petitioners instead of cooperating with the Investigating Officer filed the present writ petition b5r making false and baseles:; allegatio n s. 4- Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submitted a copy cf FIR is enclosed with the copy of instructions. 3

18.09.2025 for the offences under Sections 85 read with 3(5) BNS and Section 3, 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act, a copy of the same may be furnished on the petitiondrs' counsel. The respondent Police are directed to follow d.ue procedure as contemplated under law for furttrer course of action and petitioners are directed to cooperate with the Investigating Officer
