2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Energr on behalf of Respondent No.1, Sri N. Sreedhar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TGSPDCL on behalf of Respondent Nos.2 to 4 and Sri K.Ravi Mahendra, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.5.

Ms. Nikita Goenka, learned counsel for petitioner submits that in similar circumstances, while dealing with Writ Petition No. 19802 of 2025, this Court by order dt. 10.07.2025 directed the respondents authorities therein to release the service connection, and hence, requested this Court to pass similar order in this Writ Petition also.

4. Recently, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Rajendra Kumar Baliatga. v. U.P. Aoas Evam Vikqs Przrishad 1 , in the larger 1 2024 SCC Online SC 3767 i 2 pubiic interest. issued directions in addition to the directives issued in Re: Directions in the matter of demolitic,t of stntctures. Relevant for the purpose of this case are: "(iv) (v) (vi) (vii) All the necessary service connections, ;trch as, Electricify, water supply, sewerage cor nection, etc., shall be given by the service pr x'ider / Board to the buildings only after the prr c uction of the completion / occupation certihcar e Even after issuance of completion ce -tificate, deviation / violation if any contrary to the planning permission brought to the r otice of the authority immediate steps be taker by the said authority concerned, in accordar c: with 1aw, against the builder / owner / o< c upant; and the official, who is responsible for i rs;uance of u,rongful completion / occupation ct r_ificate shall be proceeded departmentally forth.v th. No permission / licence to condr- c i any trade must be given )./- any business / authorities including Iocal bodies ol States / Union Territories in any unau L orised building irrespective of it being reside i'r hal or commercial building. The development must be in conform t , with the zonal plan land usage. Any modihc ltion to such zonal p.lan and usage must be t;rl.en by strictly following the rules in place and in consideration of the larger public inter:r;t and the impact on the environment".

Since the prayer of petitioner in this writ petiti lt is to receive her application and release individual service cr ,.r nccrion, this Court, without going into the merits of the matt,r, directs the respondents to receive the application of pelitionr r and release individual service conncction to the subject pr )l)erty of the pe tirioner, subject to the petitioner complying with t ee directions / -/ 3 issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ro,jendr(,. Kumat Barjatga's case (supra) and the statutory requirements prescribed by the local authorities.
