Thereafter the compulsory rotatory internship program on 74.07.2025 after appearing in the BDS finar year examination herd in the month of June, 2025. Uut on 06.08.2025 the respondent No.1 issued the impugned no1:ice barring the petitioner from continuing the internship pro,qram from 25.09.2025 onwards as the petitioner shall be discharged from the course as per the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations 2007. Aggrieved by the said impugned notice dated 06.08.2025, the petitioner approached the Court by filing the present writ petition. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner mainly conten(ls that the Respondent No.2 University suspended working of on,: academic year of the colleges including the 1.t Respondent college in the year 202O, for the 7,, , 2nd, and 3.d year students of 1.t Respondent and further the petitioner lost one year period due to acute respiratory infection i.e. SARAS_ COV-2, resulting in Lumbar Spondylitis and hence petitioner was not in a position to continue the petitioner,s dental course, as a result the petitioner was not able to complete the dental course within a period of 9 years. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that in pursuance to the impugned notice dated 06.08.2025 issued by the 1.t respondent to the petitionerr herein, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation dated 30.0g.2025 addressed to the DEAN of the 1't Respondent College and to that effect the learned counsel 5 SN. .) \!P,281160,202i appearing on behalf of the petitioner also had filed postal receipt as material document in support of the petitioner,s case. But however, the request of the petitioner to extend 10 months compulsory rotatory paid internship from 26'O9 '2025 to 13.07.2026 had not been considered by the 1't Respondent College as on date, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that the request of the petitioner to extend the period of ten months to complete one year internship so as to enable the petitioner to complete BDS course has to be considered sympathetically in accordance to law in view of the specific reasons put forth by the petitioner at para No'5 of the affidavit filed by the petitioner in support of the present writ petition, within a reasonable period' 5.
