2. The learned counsel for the petitioner woulI submit that as on today no case is pending against the petitiorL r and no fresh case is registered against the petitioner as suclr continuing the rorvdy-sheet against the petitioner is illegal and arlr trary.

On the other hand, learned Assistant Govertt nent Pleader for Home placed the counter filed by the Assistant ( ommissioner of Police, Bel1ampalli, Mancherial District wherein it i submitt-ed that since the petitioner is involved in several cases r xvdJ' sheet was opened against the petitioner and it is not opene 1 based on any political vendetta. As per the available record, he petitroner is involved in Crime Nos. 132 of 2O2O, 73 of 2O2O, t) of 2O2l' 94 ol 2021, 59 of 2021,251 of 2O2l of P.S. Manda.r arri and Crime No.161 of 2O2O of P.S. Ramakrishnapur. Aft: ' completion of investigation, charge sheets have been filed in sc t re of the crimes and the said cases weie ended in acquittal and :'r me of the cases ,*,ere ended in compromise and closed as false lly filing "Final Report". Learned Assistant Government Pleade ' lor Home fairly submitted that there are no pending cases againsl he petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitione- and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and per-l ;ed the material made available on the record J

Since the categorical submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that no case is pending as against the petitioner as on date and same has not been disputed by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, this Court is of the considered opinion that continuation of rowdy-sheet against the petitioner is not appropriate. Hence, the respondent authorities are directed to close the rowdy-sheet opened against the petitioner. However, it is made clear that this order does not preclude the respondent Police authority to initiate appropriate action on the petitioner, if he indulges in any activity which is against the public tranquillity.
