Having regard to the submissions made by the respective parties and without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition 1S disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the case of petitioner for promotion to the post of Supervisor in terms of G-O.Ms.No.257, General Administration (Ser.C) Department dated
10.06.1999, as and when promotion takes place. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
