MADHUSUDHAI{ REDDY The Court made the following: ORDER THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NAGESH BHEEMAPAKA ORDER: W.P.No.27362 of 2025 Petitioner seeks a direction to respondents No.2 to 4 to receive her application and release individual service connection to her propert5z bearing H.No.4-192 in Plot No.132, Sy.No.80 admeasuring 2OO sq. yards situated at Marthanda Nagar, New Hafeezpet, Serilingampally (M), Ranga Reddy District, TS., without being influenced by the instructions ol the 7ft respondent - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. 2- Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Energr on behalf of Respondent No.l, Sri N. Ms. Thakur Roopa Singh, learned counsel for petitioner submits that in similar circumstances, while dealing with Writ Petition No. 2O121 of 2025, this Court by ordir dt.14.O7.2O25 directed the respondents authorities therein to release the service connection, subject to the compliance of the statutory requirements by the petitioner therein, and hence, requested this Court to pass similar order in this Writ Petition also. 2 \ -

4. Recently, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ratjend.ra Kumar Barjatga v. U.P. Aoas Eaann Vikas parishadl, in the larger public interest, issued directions in addition to the directives issued in Re: Directiorts in the matter of demolition of structures. Relevant for the purpose of this case are: "(iv) All the necessary service connections, r;uch as, Electricity, water supply, sewerage connection, etc., shall be given by the service prrtvider / Board to the buildings only after the procluction of the completion / occupation certificate. (") Even after issuance of completion ce:tihcate, deviation / violation if any contrary to the planning permission brought to the r otice of the authority immediate steps be taken by the saiil authority concerned, in accordan c e with law, against the builder / owner / occ upant; and the offrcial, who is responsible for i;siuance of wrongful completion / occupation cert-ificate shal1 be proceeded departmentally forthrvith. (vi) No permission / licence to conduc i any business / trade must be given ll/ any authorities including local bodies of States / Union Territories in any unaul horised building irrespective of it being reside nr-ial or commerciai building. (vii) The development must be in conformitl, with the zonal plan land usage. Any modification to such zonal plan and usage must be talen by strictly following the rules in place ,land in consideration of the larger public idderr:s,t and the impact on the environment".

Since the prayer of petitioner in this writ petitiorr is to receive her applicatron and release individual service co r,ect.ioLr, this Court, without going into the merits of the matte r, directs the ' 2024 SCC Online sc 3767 \ \ 3 respondents to receive the application of petitioner and release individual service conne ction to the aforementioned property of the petitioner, subject to the petitioner complying with the directions issued by the Hon'bie Supreme Court in RaJendra Kumar BarJatga'scase (supra) and the statutory requirements prescribed by the local authorities '
