This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri Thimmraju Ramchandra Rao, Advocate for the Petitioner and the [t/r. Jithender Rao Veeramalla, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent No.1 and of Sri Nallavothu Srinivas Yadav, Advocate for the Respondent No.2. This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused No.2 in S.C.No.141 of 2022, on the file of the Iearned Special Sessions Court for trial of cases under SCs & STs (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 19Bg -cum- lll Additional District & Sessions Judge, Sanga Reddy District, registered for the offence under Section 506 IPC and Section 3(1Xr)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015.
2. lt is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner/accused No.2 as well as the respondent No.2/de facto complainant that during pendency of the present Criminal Petition, the parties have compromised the matter and accordingly, l.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 have been filed to record compromise between them and to compound the offences. 3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has opposed the compromise petitions.
4. Perused the affidavits filed by the de facto complainant in l.A.Nos.2 & 3 of 2025 which discloses that the defacto complainant has willingly consented for compromise. since the parties were willing to enter into compromise, they were given a chance to setfle the matter by appearing along with their respective counsel before the High court Legal Services committee for the state of retangana vide orders dated 09.09.2025 passed by this court. The secretary, High court Legal services Committee shall identify the parties and submit a report to that effect.
5. Pursuant to the above said direction issued by this court, the parties along with their respective counsel have appeared before the High court Legal services committee for the state of relangana and the secretary of the above said Authority identified the parties and submitted a report dated 19.09.2025 stating that the parties were identified and they have wilrfuily, without any coercion, entered into compromise. t t \ \ 3 F-TD, J Crlp_l I 633 _2025
6. ln view of the above, l.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in S.C.No .141 of 2022, on the file of the learned Special Sessions Court for trial of cases under SCs & STs (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 19Bg -cum- lll Additional District & Sessions Judge, Sanga Reddy District, registered against the petitioner/accused No.2, are hereby quashed subject to the petitioner paying an amount of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the Telangana High Court Bar Association, Hyderabad and Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the High Court Legal Services Committee for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, within a period of two (02) weeks from today and file proof of the same before the Registry.

It is submitted that the 2nd respondent lodged a complaint before the Police, Husnabd on 07-05-2022, and on the basis of the complaint, the Police registered FIR No. gGt2O22, dated 07-05-20 22 for the offence ,,, under Sec. 506 IPC and Sec.3(1XrXs) of the SC &ST (POA) Act. After investigation, the Police filed the charge sheet before the Court of Special Sessions Judge, trial of SCs/STs (POA) Act 'cum- V Addl. District and Sessions Court, at Karimnagar. 3. lt is submitted that, during the pendency of criminar proceedings before the said court, and due to intervention of eiders of village and we1- wishers, the petitioner and 2nd respondent have agreed to compromise the matter unconditionary and amicabty, and the said compromise is setfled in between the petitioner and 2nd respondent, and both we have entered into separate Memorandum of compromise in pursuance of the said compromise, hence, the petitioner and 2nd respondent have decided to withdraw the criminar case by compromise agai,rst the accused No.2. vvs. r! 4' rt is submitted that, in view of the compromise entered in between the petitioner and 2nd respondent, the 2nd resp.ndent do not want to proceed with the case any further against the petitioner/accused No.2, as the matter is settted out of the court at the instance of viflage elders and well-wishers. tn view of the compromising the matter, the criminar ,' proceedings in sc No' 141 of 2022 against the petitioner/accused No.2 is no usefur purpose wi, be served if the criminar proceedings kept pending against the petitioner/ accused No.2. 5' rt is submitted that the 2nd respondenuDe-facto comptainant have no objection and no prejudice wourct be caused to him if the criminar proceedings are quashed against the oetitioner/ accused No.2.
