Counsel for the Petitioner : SRI THAKUR ROOPA SINGH Counsel for the Respondent No.1 : GP FOR ENERGY counser for Respondents No'2to6 ;3[' +!3EEE?]1+x[.=33", Counsel for Respondent No.7 : SRI G.MADHUSUDHAN REDD,y, SC FOR GHMC I The Court made the following: ORDER THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NAGESH BHEEMAPAKA ORDER: VI.P.No.262O3 of 2o25 Petitioner seeks a direction to respondents No.2 to 6 to receive his application form and release individual service connection to his property bearing Plot No.858 situated in survey No.11/30 admeasuring 300 sq. yards situated at Khanamet (v), Rajendranagar Taluq, Ranga Reddy District, TS., without being influenced by the instructions of the 7rt respondent - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Enerry on behalf of Respondent No. 1, Sri N. Sreedhar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TGSPDCL on behalf of Respondents 2 to 6 arrd Sri G.Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent NoJT - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Ms. Thakur Roopa Singh, learned counsel for pelitioner submits that in similar circumstances, while dealing with Writ Petition No. 20121 of 2025, this Court by order dt.14.O7.2O25 directed the respondents authorities therein to release the service connection, subject to the compliance of the statutory requirements by the petitioner therein, ald hence, requested this Court to pass similar order in this Writ Petition also.

4. Recently, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ro{endra Kumar Barjatga a. U.P. Aaas Eaam Viko-s Parishadl, n't the larger public interest, issued directions in addition tc th.e directives issued in Re: Directions in the matter of demoliticn o.f stntch.Lres. Relevant for the purpose of this case are: "(i") (v) ("i) All the necessary service connections, such as, trlectricity, water supply, sewerage corrnection, etc., shall be given by the service provicler / Board to the buildings only after the pr:duction o[ the completion / occupation certil-rca:e. Even after issuance of completion certificate, deviation / violation if any contrarl to the plannrng permission brought to the notir:e of the authority immediate steps be taker: b'7 the said authority concerned, in accordance with larv, against the builder / owner / or:cupant; and the official, who is responsible for jssuance of wrongful completion / occupation cr:rtilicate shall be proceeded departmentally forthwith. No permission / licence to conduct any business / trade must be given by any authorities including local bodies ot' Ptates / Union Territories in any unauthorised building irrespective of it being residt:ntial or commercial building. (vii) The development must be in conformity with the zonal plan land usage. Any modifi<:ation to such zona-l plan and usage must be taken by strictly following the rules in place land in consideration of the larger public interest and the impact on the environment'.

Since the praycr of petitioner in this writ petit.on is to receive his applic:rtion form and release individual service connection, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the I 2024 SCC Online sc 3767 3 respondents to receive the application of petitioner and release individual service connection to the aforementioned property of the petitioner, subject to the petitioner complying with the directions issued by the Hon'bie Supreme Court in Rajendra Kumar BarJatya's case (supra) and the statutory requirements prescribed by the local authorities.

6. The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. No costs.
