2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Energr on behalf of Respondent No. 1, Sri N. Sreedhar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TGSpDCL on behalf of Respondents 2 to 6 and Sri G.Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.Y - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Ms. Thakur Roopa Singh, learned counsel for petitioners submits that in similar circumstances, while dealing with Writ Petition No. 20 12 1 of 2025, this Court by order d,t.14 .OT .2025 directed the respondents authorities therein to release the service connection, subject to the compliance of the statutory requirements by the petitioner therein, and hence, requested this Court to pass similar order in this Writ petition a1so. 2

4. Recently, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Rajendra Kumar Bdrjdtya a. U.P. Aaas Eaam Vikas Parishad r, in the larger public interest, issued directions in addition to the directives issued in Re: Directions in the matter of demolition o-f stntchres. Relevant for the purpose of this case are: "(i") Al1 the necessary service connections, such as, Electricity, water supply, sewerage cor.nection, etc., shall be given by the service prcvicler / Board to the buildings only after the pr,rduction of the completion / occupation certihcar,e. (") Even after issuance of completion certificate, deviation / violation if any contrarl to the planning permission brought to the notir:e of the authority immediate steps be taken b,/' the said authorily concerned, in accordance r,r.ith law, against the builder / owner / or:cupant; and the official, who is responsible for issuance of wrongful completion / occupation cr:rtilicate shal1 be proceeded departmen[ally forthwitl-r. ("i) No permission / licence to conduct any business / trade must be given by any authorities including local bodies ol- rstates /Union Territories in any unauthorised building irrespective of it being residr:ntiial or commercial building. (vii) The development must be in conformily w,ith the zonal plan land usage. Any modific:ation to such zonal plan and usage must be taken by strictly following the rules in place larld in consideration of the larger public interest and the impact on the environmenf'.

Since the prayer of pr:titioners in this r,r..rrr petition is to receive the application forms and release individual service connecLions, this Court, without going into the merits of the \ 9OZ+ SCC Online SC i767 ./., matter, directs the respondents to receive the applications of petitioners and release individual service connections to the abovementioned property of the petilioners, subject to the petitioners complying with the directions issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Raiend.ra Kumar Bariatga's case (supra) and the statutory requirements prescribed by the local authorities.

6. The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of.
