Brief facts stated in this writ petition f,re that pctitioners are the family members and petitioner No.1 is a pardanesheen ladv, pctitioner Nos.2,3,4 and 6 are students and petitioner No.5 is engagecl in business. It is further stated that petitioner's No.1 husband i.e., M hammccl Mun.rwar'Ali, is falsely implicated in FIR No.01 of 2025 dated 3 04.2025, for the offences under Section 8 (c) read with 20 (b) (ii) (c),29 NDPSA Act, pending on the file of police station Narcotics Warangal District, [t is further stated that on confession of accused Nos.1 anc{ 2, poli(e hacl addecl the name of the petitioner's husband as accused No.4 in FIR No.01 of 2025 dated 30.04.2025. The case of the petitioners is that though the petitioners are not involved in the above said case, the respondent auihor ties are calling the petitioners to the police station compelling to sit for hours It is further stated that petitioner 2 Nos.2,3,4 and 6 are students and petjtioner No.5 is engagecl in busirress and if they are frequcntly called to the police station, it rvculd eifect thcir clailr routine. Lcarned Government Pleader for Home appca ring for. rcsponclcnt Nos.1 to 3 placed on record instructions issued by Siuh-lnspector ol [)olicc, Warangal Narcotics Police Station, TG Anti Narcotic Bureau, Hvclelabad, wherein it is stated that on credible information, Sub inspector ot policc, Warangal Narcotics PS, intercepted one Innova car. bearing No.At, 09 Ay 8289, driven by the accused No.1 and Swift car bearinli No.TS 07 IIN 203-1, driven by accused No.2. Wtrile, jntercepting th,: saicl vchiclcs near Chintagattu flyover bridge, Hanumakonda, the police tbund 142.30 Kgs of ganja, hence the accused Nos.1 and 2 along with the-v:hicles \.vcre takcn into custody. During the interrogation, accused Nos.1 and 2 confesser.l that thev are suppliers of ganja and they have purchased the sam'l lrgm accusc,.l No.3 and were selling the same to accused No.4 (petitioner':; I usband). fhcreafter, policc registered Crime No.01 of 2025, under Section 8 (ci reatl n.ith 2{) (b) (ii) (c), 29 NDISA Act. The Accused Nos.1 and 2 were prodlcecl beforc tht: coult and were remarrded to judicial custody in Central Prison, Khantmarn. However, accused Nos.3 and 4 were absconding. Upon f urther investrgation, it was reveled that the petitioner's husband i.e., accusrtd No.4 is involved in pedclling of ganja since 2007 and he is involved in mc,rc than U NDpS cascs i.e.,Cr.No.3013 of 2007, Cr.No.130 o12073, Cr.No.O1 of '-l0t7,Cr.No l6 ot2077, Cr.No.171 of 201,7, Cr.No.60 of 2077, Cr.No.06 of 201_7 and Cr.No.2t of 2018 t !' 4"t' -) pending on the files of various police stations in the statc of Tclangana. It is further stated that since the petitioner No.1 is wifc, petitioner Nos.2 to 4 are children of accused No.4 and petitioner NQs.5 and 6 are workers of accused No.4, they might have some inJormation about him. Having considered the above facts and circumstancc and since the respondent authorities are calling the petitifners to know the whcreabouts of thc accused No.4, this Court deems it appropriate to disposc of the writ petition and the petitioners are directed to approach the investigating officer i.e., Sri.B.Ravinder, Inspector of Police, Wa angal, NPS, TGANB, Hvderabacl I on 15.09.2025 at 10.30 Am.
