This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/accused in Crime No.44O of 2024, on the file of Sangareddy Town Police Station, Sangareddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 42O,468 and 471 of lPC.

2. lt is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner/accused as well as the respondent No.2/complainant that during pendency of the present Criminal Petition, the parties have compromised the matter and accordingly, l.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 have been filed to enter into compromise, to record compromise and to quash the proceedings registered against him

3. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has opposed the compromise petition.

4. Perused the affidavits filed in l.A.Nos.2 & 3 of 2025 seeking for compromise. Since the parties were willing to enter into compromise, they were given a chance to settle the matter by appearing along with their respective counsel before the High Court Legal Services ./r I 2 LTD. ] crt P t24 2025 Committee for the State of Telangana yrde orders dated 01.09.2025 passed by this Court. The Secretary, High Court l_egal Services committee sha'identify the parties and submit a rep,)rt to that effect. 5. Pursuant to the above said direction issued bv this Court, the parties along with their respective counsel have appeared before the High Court Legal Services Committee for the State of Telangana and the Secretary of the above said Authority identified .he parties and submitted a report dated .10.09.2025 stating that the parties were identified and they have willfully, without any coercion entered into compromise o ln view of the above, l.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 202!i are allowed Consequently, the Criminal petition is allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.440 of 2024, on the fite of Sangareddy fown police Station, Sangareddy District, registered against the petitioner/accused are hereby quashed subject to ihe petitioner paytng an amount of Rs.5,000/_ (Rupees Five Thousan,l Only) to the Telangana High Court Bar Association, H;zderabad anc Rs.5,000/_ (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the Telangana Sitate Legal Services Committee, Hyderabad, within a period of two (02) weeks from today and file proof of the same before the Registry.
