Nos. 2 and 3 or 2oz3 and the pubric prosecutor on beharf of the Respondent No.1 in crr-petition and r.A.Nos. 2 and 3 of 2023 and of sri Mohd. lmran Khan, Advocate for the Respondent No. 2 in crr.petition and petitioner in l.A.Nos.2 and 3 ol 2023. The Court made the following Common Order: / THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE J. SREENTVAS RAO I.A.Nos.2 and3 of 2023 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.9843 of 2023 COMMON ORDER: This Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioners, who were arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 4, seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.273 of 2023 on the file of the Additional Chief Judicial First Class Magistrate at Sangareddy for the offences punishable under Sections 498(4) and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

During the pendency of this criminal petition, petitioners/accused Nos.l to 4 and respondent No.2/de-facto complainant have entered into compromise to resolve the disputes pending between them and filed joint affidavit along with I.A.No.3 of 2023 and also frled another I.A-No.2 of 2023 to record the compromise and to compound the offences. 2 :

The above said applications came up for consideration before this Court onO9.LO.2O23, and this Court directed the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 4, and respondent No.2/de_facto complainant, to appear before the Secretary, Telangana High Court Legal Services Committee, along with their identity cards for their identifrcation, on 13.10.2023, and, further directed the Telangana High Court Legal Services Committee to submit a report by 17.10.2O23. pursuant to the same, Telangana High Court Legal Services Committee submitted report dated 13.|O.ZO23.

4. Heard Sri Shaik Saifullah, leamed counsel for the petitioners and Sri Mohd. Imran Khan, learned counsel for respondent No.2.

5. Both the counsel submitted that the petitioners/accused Nos.l to 4 and respondent No.2 entered into compromise at the instance of their well wishers and elders and settled their disputes. The terms of compromise were mentioned in the joint affrdavit filed in support of I.A.No.3 of 2023. 3

6. Taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances including joint memo frled by both the parties, proceedings in C.C.No.273 of 2023 on the file of the Additional Chief Judicial First Class. Magistrate at Sangareddy, against the petitioner/accused Nos'l to 4 are liable to be quashed.

Accordingly, I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2023 are allowed' Consequently, the criminal petition is allowed and the in C.C.No.213 of 2023 on the frle ol the proceedings Additional Chief Judicial First Class Magistrate at Sangareddy, against the petitioner/accused Nos' 1 to 4 are hereby quashed.
