2. Heard learned counsll for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Fleader for Home appearing on behalf of respondent Nos'1 tq 4' With their consent' this r,r'rit petition is taken up for disposal' I 2 ----'1

Brief facts as stated in the writ pt:tition are that petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 are husband and wife and they r.r,ere falsely implicated in Cr.No.68 of 2Ol4 reqistered under Sections 42O,354,385, 506 and 5O9 c,f lpC and were arrayed as Accused Nos.3 and 4 in the sai,:l crime and that at the time of registration of crime, the peti:ioners are out of CountrS' and the Police filed chargr: sheet against Accused Nos. 1, 2 and 5 and the same end,:d in acquittal uide judgement dated 31.07.2019 on the frle of XXVII Addl.Chief Metropolitar.r Magistrate, Namp;rly, Hyderabad. The petitioners filed ar-r application for gralt of anticipatory bail before I Addl. Metropolitan Sessions Ju,1ge, Nampally ald the same was allowed on condition of d,_-positing their respective passports and on execution of personal bond of Rs.25,OO0/ each uide order dated 2'1 .O2.2019 in t Crl.M.P.No.S19 of 20 19 in C.C.No. 1062 of 201S. As such petitioners complied with the said orders eLnd deposited passports u,ith respondent No.4.

Thereafter, petitioners filed Crl.p.No.3OS9 of 2022 before this Court to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.6g of 2014 and the same was dispose d, of uicle order dated J 04 .O4.2O22 with a direction to respondent authorities to conclude investigation within 3 months. However, respondent No.4 did not do so. It is further submitted that petitioners daughter reside in Canada and the petitioners are in requirement of passports for travelling. Accordingly, petitioners filed an application in M.P.No.226l of 2024 in Crl.M.P.No.519 of 2019 in C.C.No.1062 of 2015 before the trial Court seeking for return of passports. The trial Court allor.r,ed the said application on 03.06.2024 directing respondent No.4 to return the passports of the petitioners on furnishing al undertaking. In this regard, petitioners have made representation to regpondent Nos.2 and 3 on

19.06.2025, however, no action has been taken by the respondent authorities. Questioning the same, the present , t writ petition is filed

Having regard to the submissions made by lea:ned counsel on either sicle, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 i.e., the, Station House Officer, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad to return tlre passports of the petitioners for the purpose of travel, u,itrin a period of four (.i) weeks from the date of receipt ol a copy ol this order. In case of non-availability or missirrg of the said passports, rcspondent No.4 shall give zrn endorsement stating the sarne, enabling the petitiorrers to avail appropriate remedies as available under lars. Miscellaneous petitions, pending, if zrny, shall stand closed. However, there sl'rall be no order as to costs.
