2. Petitioner is claiming that she s a resident ofHYderabad' She has comPleted her schoolin at ChallaPalli Viltage, Krishna District. She has comPl ed Polytechnic DiPloma course in Pamarru, Krishna Distric . She has been staYtng tn ds. In proof of the same, Hyderabad from the Year 2001 on she has filed coPies of aadhar car and ProPertY tax recelpts' She has also filed residence certifi ate issued on 2l -08.2025' She has aPPlied for TG LAW ET - 2025 Pursuant to notification issued bY resPondent No.2 and she got 1368'h rank. She has submitted all the ertificates for verification ith respondent No.2. Even from 04.08.2025 to 14'08'2025 then, resPondent No'2 has rejecte her request stating that she I 2 is not eligible for exercising web option. Challenging the said action of respondent No.2, petitioner filed the present writ petition.

Mr.M.Srinivas Reddy,, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2, on instructions, would submit that petitioner has not submitted all the relevant documents to respondent No.2 at the time of certificate verification showing that she is falling under l50% category in terms of G.O.Ms.No.15, Higher Education (TE), Department, dated 21.02.2025. If petitioner has submitted the copies of the aforesaid ceftificates, respondent No.3 will consider the same.

4. As per TG LAWCET 2025 Admissions detailed notification for web based counseling, dated 26.07.2025, the eligibility criteria is prescribed as follows: 'b. Eligibility for TG LAWCET 2025 Admission's: l. The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.

Area as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended and the remaining l5o/o of the seats shall be un-reserved seats, as follows: (i) All the candidates eligible to be declared as local candidates of O.LI. Area. (ii) Candidates who have resided-ln the State-tbr- a-total-period-of-ten years excluding periods of study outside the State or either o[ whose parents have resided in the State lor a total period of ten years excluding periods of employment outside the State; (iii) Candidates who are children of parents who are in the employment of this State or Central Govemment, Public Sector Corporation, Local Bodies, Universities and other similar quasi Public Institution within the State; and (iv) Candidates who are spouses of those in the employment of the State or Central Govemment Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies Universities and educational Institutions recognized by the Government or a University or Other competent authority and similar other quasi-Govemment institutions within the State." t \ 7 5 \ \

According to the petitioner, since she is staying 1n Hyderabad from the year 2001 on wards, she is entitled for admission in five years LLB cours e under l5o/o category in terms of G.O.Ms.No.l5, Higher Edr rcation (TE), Department, dated 27.02.2025. However, she has not submitted anY documents to respondent No.2 alon g with proof of her stay. She has applied for residential certifi cate only on 2l .08.2025.

7. ln the light ofthe aforesaid dis cussion, this Writ Petition disposed of directing the 1S retitioner to submit a 1 representation along with the copies of required documents to show that she is falling under 15% ,category and that she is staying in Hyderabad since last 10 years, to respondent No.2 within one (l) week from the date c f receipt of a copy of thrs order. On receipt of the same, resPc ndent No.2 shall consider the same. If respondent No.2 come s to a conclusion that the petitioner is eligible to get admiss iion into five years LLB course under 15%o category in terms of G.O.Ms.No. 1 5, Higher Education (TE), Department, datr i 21.02.2025, he shall provide admission to the petitioner lrerein. If respondent No.2 6 is not inclined to accept the request made by the petitioner, he shall assign specific reasons, pass a reasoned order and communicate copy of the same to the petitioner within two (2) davs thereafter.
