VIIAYSEN REDDY WRIT PETITION No.25075 OF 2025 ORDER (oRAL) Heard Mr. M.A.K.Mukheed, learned counsel for the petitioners; Mr. Midde Arun Kumar, leamed Standing Counsel for GHMC, appearing for respondents No,2 and 6 to 8; and perused the material on record.

Leamed counsel for the petitioners submitted thal the petitioners have executed several works on behalf of the respondents-GHMC as per the work orders issued to each one of them in Nampally Assembly Constituency during the general elections of 2023. The bills submitted by the petitioners have been duly verified and certified by respondent No.5. Pursuant thereto, two letters vide Lr.Nos.EElCIF.-l2lKZl GHMC|2023-24 dated fi1.12.2023 were addressed by respondent No.5 to respondent No.4 wherein it was stated that the works have been completed by the petitioners as per instructions and as per schedule and requested for release of payments of Rs.82,86,862/- (Rupees eighty two lakhs eighty six thousand eight hundred and sixty two only) and Rs.87,08,435l- (Rupees eighty seven lakhs eight thousand four hundred and thirty hve only) respectively. The grievance ofthe petitioners is that 2 even after the bills have been certifi , the payments have not been released to them so far. Aggrieved ereby, the petitioners submitted representation dated 1 1.03.2025 to the spondent authorities for release of the payments, but no action has n initiated, as such, they are constrained to approach this Court

3. Leamed counsel for the petiti ners submitted that in similar circumstances, the order dated 03.01.2 25 was passed by this Court in W.P. No. 18 of 2025 and prayed that imilar order may be passed in favour of the petitioners herern

In the circumstances, this writ pe ition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to consider the presentation of the petitioners dated 1 1.03.2025 for release of p ments of Rs.82,86,862/- and Rs.87,08,435l-. If the respondent auth rities are not inclined to accept the request of the petitioners, they shall ssign reasons, pass an order and communicate copy of the same to the p itioners. This exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) ks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
