This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing tl're Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri E. Roja Ramani, Advocate for the Petitioners and the Mr. Jithender Rao Veeramalla, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent No.1 and of Sri Sharad Sanghi, Advocate for the Respondent No.2. JUSTICE TIRUMALA DEVI EADA l.A.No.3 of 2O25 cRtMtNAL PETtrffiio.losos ot 2o2s COMMON ORDER This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 6 under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 seeking to quash the proceedings against him in C.C.No.5747 of 2019 on the file of XIll Metropolitan Magistrate at Manoranjan Complex, Hyderabad registered for the alleged offences punishabte under Section 498-A, 406 of lndian Penal Code, 1860 (for short'lPC') and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1960 (for short'DP Act').

2. lt is submitted by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner Nos.1 to G/accused Nos.1 to 6 as well as respondent No.2lde facto complainant that petitioner No.2/accused No.2 died during the pendency of the proceedings and that during pendency of the present Criminal Petition, the parties have compromised the matter and accordingly, l.A.No.3 of 2025 has been filed seeking to record the compromise and to quash the proceedings in the above CC

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has opposed the said compromise petitions. 2 IJT'D, J Crlp_l 0805 -2025

4. Perused the affidavits filed by the de facto complainant in l.A.No.3 of 2A25 which disclose that she has willingly consented for compromise. Since the parties were willing to enter into compromise, they were given a chance to settle the matter by appearing along with their respective counsel before the High Court Legal Services Committee for the State of Telangana vide orders dated 25.08.2025 passed by this Court. The Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee shall identify the parties and submit a report to that effect.

Pursuant to the above said direction issued by this Court, the parties along with their respective counsel have appeared before the High Court Legal Services Committee for the State of Telangana and the Secretary of the above said Authority identified the parties and submitted a report dated 25.09.2025 stating that tl're parties were identified and they have willfully and without any coercion entered into compromise as per the terms of compromise.

0. ln view of the above, l.A.No.3 of 202.5 is allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in c.c.No.5747 of 2019 on the file of Xlll Metropolitan Magistrate at ManoEnjan complex, Hyderabad, registered against the petitioner Nos.1 and 3 to 6 /accused Nos.1 and 3 to 6, are lrereby quashed -Z - 3 ETD, J Crlp_10805 _2025 subjectto the petitioner Nos.1 and 3 to 6/accused Nos.1 and 3 to 6 paying an amount of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the Director, Sainik Welfare, Hyderabad (Savings A/c.No.52188926279, State Bank of lndia, Shantinagar Branch (20070), IFSC Code:SB|N0O20O70, MICR No.50000 4057) and Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, within a period of three (03) weeks from today and file proof of the same before the Registry.
