No.2 of 2025 1n and Criminal Petition No.9139 of2023 ORDER: This Criminal Petition has been frled seeking to quash the C'C' No.6261 of 2023 on the file of XIII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate' Nampally, Hyderabad wherein the petitioners were arrayed as accused Nos.2 and 3 for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323' 354-A and 506 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act-

2. During the pendency of this Criminal Petition, the petitioners and respondent No.2 entered settlement and filed application lA' No.1 of 2025, l.A. No.2 of 2O25 seeking permission to compound the offences and also record the compromise. \ \

3. By virtue of the compromise, recorded the compromise and quash the proceedings.

4. This Court ort 14.08 -2025 directed the parties to appear before the High Court Legal Services Comrnittee on or before 23 'O8 '2025 for identification.

5. Sri P. Somasekhar Naidu, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent No.2, N. Gopi Krishna, learned Counsei representing Mr. Sasi Preetham, learned Counsel for the petitioners / accused No.2 submits that the petitioners and the respondent No.2 appeared before the High Court Legal Services Committee. The record further reveals t1at the High Court l,egal Services Committee submitted report dated 22_Og.2O2S.

6. Taking into consideration of the joint memo fiied by the petitioners arrd respondent No.2 which was enclosed along with I.A. No.2 of 2025, this Court is of tlle considered view the proceedings in C.C. No.6261 of 2023 on tlle file XIII Additional Chref Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampaily, Hyderabad against the petitioner Nos. 2 and 3 are liable to be quashed 7 . Accordingly, the Criminal petition is allowed and quashed the proceedings in C.C. No_626 7 of 2Ci23 on the lile on the Iile of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampa11y, Hyderabad against the petitioners 2 and 3. Note: This Order is amended as Per the Court Order dated 18-09-2025 in l.A.No.3 oi 2025 where in the year of C.C.No.6261 of 2025 is wronglY mentioned instead of C.C-No'6261 ot 2023.
