LAKSHMAN PE Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Government pleader for Revenue and learned Assistant Government pleader for Finance. 2- Petitioners are twenty three (23) innumber. They are the family members of the deceased persons, who died due to 'thunderbolt'. They are entitled for ex gratia in terms of G.o.Ms.No.2, Revenue (Disaster Management.I) Department, dated 19-07.2018. Even then respondent Nos.2 and 3 are not paying the said benefit to the petitioners herein.oTherefore, petitioners got issued legar notice .dated r5.0s.2025 to respondent Nos.2 and 3 with a request to pay the aforesaid amount. Despite receiving and acknowledging the said legar notice, respondent Nos.2 and 3 did not act upon the same. Aggrieved by the said inaction of respondent Nos.2 and 3, petitioncrs.filed the present writ petition. L
3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance, on instructions, would submit that respondent Nos.2 and 3 will consider the said tegal notice dated 15.05.2025 and dispose it of in accordance with law.

In the light of the said submission, this'Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the said legal notice dated 15.05.2025 issued by the petitioners seeking to pay ex gratia in terms of G'O'Ms'No'2, Revenue (Disaster Management.I) Department, dated L9'07'2018' in accordance with law. If respondent Nos'2 and 3 are not inclined to accept the request made by the petitioners, they shall assign specific reasons, pass . a reasoned order and ) communicate the copy of the same to the petitioners' They shalt complete the entire exercise within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. / ffiu.
