2. Heard Mr. B. Ashok, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Ple ,ld er for Home appearing for the respondents and perused the material ,l vailable on record

3. Learned counsel for the petitione t was directly recruited as Sub-lnspector] submitted that the petitroner of Police of the 1991 batch of Hyderabad City Police. He was promot $d as Inspector of Police on out of seniority basis on O1-11-2OOO alon Rc.No.4 155/Al I 2OOO, D.O.No. 1057/2 t 1*i q00, th 3 others vide orders in issued by the Inspector General of Police, Intelligence, Hyderab{d It is further submitted that vide orders issued in Rc.No.6o9lA3 /1oo2, RR.No.446/2003, dated O9-O1-2OO3 of the Inspector General of Folice, Intelligence, Hyderabad allowing the petitioner to continue in t e cadre of Inspector as Out of Seniority ranks along with others till the normal promotions were t given. It is further submitted that, on O2-11-2OO5, he was further promoted as nspector of Police on regular basis, subsequently promoted as Dy. Superintendent of Police on 04-11-2017 and Additional Supr:rintcndent of Police by an order dated 18-03 2025. At present, the pe[itioner is discharging his duties as l\dditional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajendranagar Zone, Cyberabad Police Commissionera te.

4. Learned r:ounsel for the petitioner further submitted that one Sri C. Nageswara Rao, who was also promoted as Inspector of Police on Out of Seniority basis vide orders dated 01-11-2000 had approached the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal by filing O.A.No.63 18 of 2013 seeking to reckon his senrority in the cadre of Inspector of Police with effect from 06- 1 l.-2000 and for regularization o' his service s with effect from the datr: of promotion as Inspector of Pol ce on O/S basis, the said OA was disposed of on 23- 08-2013 directing the respondents therein to considcr the case of the applicant therein. Aggrieved by the said order, the department filed W.P.No.924 of 2Ol4 before this Court and the same is dismissed vide order dated I l. 1 O.2022.\

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the Government issrued orders vide Memo No.11482,rSer.f /M 12023, dated O6-05-20i25, wherein considered the representation of Sri C. Nageswara Rao lo lsglrlsrize his serwices out of senio|ity promotion as Inspector of Police (Civil) w.e.f. 06. 1 1.2O0O with all consequential benefits duly implementing the judg{nent dated 23-08-20 13 of the APAT in O.A.No.6318/2013 in view of dismissal of W.P.No.924 of 20 14, dated I l- 1O-2O22.

Learned counsel for the Petitio er further submitted that the petitioner has made a representatiorf dated 01-07-2O25 before the respondent authorities requesting to $ seniority in the cadre of Inspector o onsider his case to reckon his f Police from the date of his 0 1- 1 1-2000 as was considered promotion on out of seniorit5r basis i.e.] in respect of Sri C. Nageswara Rao ]vho was also promoted in the cadre of Inspector of Police on out of leniority basis. But, till today, the said representation is pending before the respondent authorities' Hence, the present writ petition is filed. 7 . Learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for the respondents submitted that the re!pondents would consider the representation dated Ol.O7 .2025, su mitted by the petitioner and h pass appropriate orders, in accordanc! with law

Having considered the submilsions made by the learned counsel for both the parties, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the respondent au thorities are directed to consider the representation dated O1.O7.2025, ubmitted by the petitioner and P 1 pass appropriat: orders, in accordance with law, within a period of six (O6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
