Petition Under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ order or direclion especially one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring that. h. 2. Heard Mr. T. Rahul, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Services-Ill for respondent Nos.1, 4 and 5, learned Government Pleader for Services-I for respondent No.2, and Mr. M. Murali Krishna, learned Standing Counsel for the Principal Accountant General (A&E), for respondent No.3.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner retired from service on 31.05.2025. Considering the pension proposals, respondent No.3 sanctioned pension to the petitioner vide Letter dated 21.04.2025. However, till now, his retirement benefits were not released by the respondents.
4. Learned Government Pleader submits that due to dearth of funds, the amounts corJld not be released to the petitioner, on time. However, in pursuance of Letter dated 21.04.2025, amounts will be released to the beneficiaries.
5. Having regard to the above supmissions, this Writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release all terminal I I u \ benefits, such as Death-cu m -Retirement, Gratuity, Commutation of Pension, General Provident Fund amount, and Encashment of Earned Leave, pertaining to the retirement dated 3t.05.2025, as well as the proceedings in Lr. No.AG(A&E)/P|4/11/ A- 445/SPLOB9/2025-03/164, dated 2t.04.2025 of respondent No.3 and Gratuity (TS) amount of Rs.s,87,406/- vide Token No.2600488476, dated 05.06.2025, Gratuity (CS) amount oF Rs.10,12,594/- vide Token No.2600488459, dated 05.06.2025, Commutation (TS) amount of Rs.6,90,904/- vide Token No.2600488503, dated 05.06.2025, Commutation (CS) amount of Rs.11,91,010/- vide Token No.2600488490, dated 05.06.2025, EL and HPL amount of Rs.8,78,070/- vide Token No.0501570, dated 09.06.2025, c.P.F. amount of Rs.g,54,942/- vide Token No.2600645260, dated 26.06.2025, and G.I.S. amount of Rs.30,826/- vide Token No.0501488, dated 09.06.2025, pertaining to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
