2. This writ petition is fited challenging the action of respondent No.5 in calling the petitioners to the police station and harassing them without following due procedure laid down under [aw.

Whereas, leamed Assistant Govemment Pleader for Home, on instructions, would submit th4t petitioner No.l has filed a complaint under Section - 200 of Cr.P.C. and the same referred to Jadcherla Police Station, who in tum registered a case in Crime No.495 of 2015 for the offences punishabte under Sections - 420,465, 568,469 ard 471of IPC. The Investigating Oflicer has not completed investigation in the said crime in accordance with [aw' The Public Information Officer/Inspector of Police of Jadcherla Police Station has fumished information to the petitioner dated 19.11.2021 stating that the said crime was referred as mistake of fact on 29'05'2019 2 KIJ w.P No2?274 0f m25 a' r. enoneorsly. The said information fumished by the public Information Officer of Jadcherla police Station is fac tually incorrect.

Since the Investigating Officer in the szid crime has not compl,eted investigation fairly and kept intacq the liuperintendent of Police, Mahabubnagar Districg issued charge s[ eet to the then Investigating Offrcer in the subject crime, Mr. G. llalraju, presently working as Inspector of police, RGI polic.e Station, Jhamshabad. He has also appointed Mr. Kamalakaq Inspector of police, as Investigating Officer in the said crime. He has completed investigation and he is gourg to file charge sheet ;hortly. In the light of the above submissions, thi: writ petition is disposed of directing the Investigating Officer in C rime No.495 of 2015 of Jadcherla Police Station to complete invesrigation and lay charge sheet. He shall not harass the petitioners under the guise of investigagirrn. However, if any further inforamation s required from 3 KIJ W-P. No.22274 of2025 the petitioners, he can seek fiom them and the petitioners shalt co- operate with the Investigating Offrcer by fumishirg forformation as sought by him. In the circumstances of the case, there shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. //TRUE COPY// SD/. B.
