This Petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Memorandum of Grounds of Criminal Petition and upon hearing the arguments of Sri S. Ram Reddy, Advocate for the Petitioners and the Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent No.1 and of Sri C. SunilAnand, Advocate for the Respondent No.2. This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/accused Nos.1, 7 & 23 seeking to quash the proceedings in FlR.No.909 of 2023 of p.s., Detective Department (DD), CCS, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 66 C & D of the lnformation Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008 and Sections 419 and 42O of IPC.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners as well as respondent No.2 submitted that during pendency of the present Criminal Petition, the parties have compromised the matter and accordingly, LA.Nos.3 and 4 of 2025 have been filed to record compromise between them and to compound the offences.
3. This Court, vide orders dated 23.07.2025, directed the parties along with their respective counsel to appear before the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, High Court for the State of Tetangana, Hyderabad, for identification and to submit a report.
4. Pursuant to the above said direction, the parties have 1 appea red before High Court fe$hl Services Committee and the \ \ t \ ) 7 Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, has identified the parties and submitted a report dated 04.08.2025 and the same is placed on record.
5. ln view of the above, l.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2025 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in FlR.No.909 of 2023 of P.S., Detective Department (DD), CCS, Hyderabad, registered against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 ,7 &23 are hereby quashed subject to the petitioners paying an amount of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the Director, Sainik Welfare, Hyderabad (Savings fuc.No.52188926279, State Bank of lndia, Shantinagar Branch (20070), IFSC Code:SB1N0020070, MICR No.500004057) and Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the Telangana High Court Advocates Association, Hyderabad, within a period of two (02) weeks from today and file proof of the same before the Registry.

Act 2008 and Sections 4lg,42O of IPC. It is submitted that respondent no.2 is the complainant in the present case' The allegations in the complaint are that the complainant got a call from one lady introduced as Varsha and she informed him that he was selected for Data Entry jobs and they are offering Google Pay for data entry jobs, initially she shared some PDF over whatsapp and she asked complainant to type it and send it in word format within 10 days some were links were shared by her thereon they have sent an email address prosubmi [email protected] and asked the complainant to share the project to that email and that after submissions they informed him that he got scored g6.6%accuracy and accordingly tris pay will be Rs.44,400/- and it will be paid through Google Pay or Phonepe or direct bank transfer and first they asked him to pay Rs.681/- and sMS charges to numbet g64016,7746@ai*el and again they asked him to pay Rs.1888/- as employee account opening balance to the UPI Id finteam@kotak and again they asked him to pay poc charges to the uPI Id finteam@kotak and that he paid .g.s"t,a"ry,K*roV Y' Rs.6666/- as \v'DV"J< :: t ! , I I I : I I 1 2 !fi r somehow they convinced and they made him to pay Rs. 1666r- as taxes to the otsfinance@kotakupi id. and also they asked him to pay Rs.356/- - document charges trpl Id and trrat after paying ail these amounts they switched off their mobile numbers and they blocked his number also. It is further alleged that the following numbers were used for transferring the amounts i.e., 9133597824, 9640t67746, 77ggs47g3l, 9133093350 and . regularly complainant was getting normal text messages from these bulk sMS and the tiPI Id names shown as Gadagouni chakradhar Goud, ChereddyAuroshika Reddy and Narsimha Murthy. a J It is submitted that the petitioners have never participated or practiced i, these types of activities and the phone numbers, email ids and the UpI Ids mentioned in the complaint ancl remand report' does not belong to Petitioners. 4' After registering the present FIR, Police have arrested some of the Accused and remanded them to judicial custody on 17/05/2023 and, in which the petitioners' names were mentioned as Accused No.l, 7 & 23.It is submitted that'complainant very recently came in contact with the petitioners and in the said conversation complainant himself admitted that the said complaint was not lodged against the petitioners herein. It was further learnt that the email ids and upi ids do not belong to petitioners. 5' It is submitted that in the said conversation both complainant and petitioners have decided to compromise and close the case as the said complaint is not filed against the petitioners herein.
