2. Petitioners are seventeen (17) in number. Th:,, arc the family rnenrbers of the deceased persons, who rlier. due to 'thurrderbolt'. They are entitled for ex gratia irlernrs ol' G.O. Ms.No. 2, Revenue (Disaster Management. I) I),_.1 rarlrnent, datecl 19.07.2018. According to the learned coullse firr thc petitioners, Principal Secretary for Finance, Telanga ra State, has releascrl the budget order vide BRO No.2(rl, Irinance (EtsS-VIl) Department, dated 19.02.2025. L-.,,.t:rr rhen resporrdent Nos.l and 2 are not paying the said belclit to thc petitioners herein. Therefore, petitioners got issu,..d lcgal rroticc datetl 02.05.2025 to respondent Nos.l ancl -l with a request to l)ay the aforesaid amount. Despite reccrr ins ancl acknorvledging the said legal notice, respondent Nt,s l ancl r 2 did not act upon the same. Aggrieved by the said inaction of respondent Nos.l and 2, petitioners filed the present writ petition.
3. Leamed Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue and learned Assistant Government Pleader lor Finance, on instructions, would submit that respondent Nos.l and 2 will consider the said legal notice dated 02.05.2025 and dispose it of in accordance with law.
