ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent police officials in not taking any action on the complaint dated 06.09.2003 as illegal and arbitrary. Counter has been filed stating that basing on the complaint dated 06.09.2003 a case in Cr.No.61 of 2004 under Sections 417, 429 IPC and Section 155 of Panchayat Raj Act, was registered on 02.12.2004 and the matter is taken up for investigation. If that be so, the respondents are directed to complete the investigation in accordance with law and file a final report as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with the above observation. No costs. ______________ V.
