Learned Assistant Government Pleader fbr [{ome submits that, although the petitioners initially sought policc protection and challenged their being shown as accused in the criminal proceedings, this Court, by interim order dated 21.07.2017, had already directed the respondent police not to summon the \ t I \ \ 2 petitioners to the police station except in accordance with due process o[ Iaw. He further contends that, as the petitioners are no longer pressing the matter, it appears that their grievance has been effectively redressed pursuant to the said interim direction. Accordingly, he prays that appropriate final orders be passed.

5. I have carefully perused the material placed on record.

Upon consideration of the submissions advanced and noting that the petitioners are not pressing the matter in view of the interim order dated 21.07.2017, this Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioners stands substantially resolved by the interim order. [{ence, this court is of the view that it would be just and appropriate to make the interim order dated 21.07.2017 absolute. ordered accordingly. The writ petition is, therefore, disposed ol.
