The instant Writ Petition is filed assailing the G.O.No.15, Higher Education (TE) Department, dated 27-02.2025, u,herein the Higher Education Department, Government of Telangana, has laid down the guidelines in respect of admission into the higher and technical educational institutions in the State, deiining the local ar-rd non-local candidates. \

3. When the matter u,as earlier taken up on 09-O7.2025' the learned Government Pleader for Higher Education was granted time to seek instructions so as to permitting the petitioners to exercise the rveb options.

4. Today, t,hen the matter is thereafter taken up, the learned counsel for petitioners submits that, subsequent to the issue being brought to the notice of the authorities, they have diluted the earlier stand and have now permitted the students, who were studying in Sainik School in the unified State of Andhra Pradesh, to be treated as local candidates and consequently, the petitioners have been permitted to exercise their web options and have a-lso been called for counselling.

5. l,earnecl Government Pleader states that since in the unified State of Andhra Pradesh, there was only one Sainik School and where the students of both the States have undertaken their studies, the Department has decided to gralt relaxation to the students, who have studied in the Sainik School in the unified State of Andhra pradesh. She further submits that as per her instructions, G.O.No.15, dated 27.O2.2025 w-ill not come in the way of petitioners so I -) , far as their admissions are concerned as they are being treated as 'locals'.

Upon the said statement made by the learned Government Pleader, the learned counsel for petitioners submits that in the light of the said submission of the State Counsel nothing remains to be agitated in the instant '*,rit petition and the same be accordingly disposed of. 7 . In view of the said submissions of the learned Government Pleader and the fact that the petitioners have been permitted to exercise lheir r,r'eb options and they have also been cailed for counselling, the instant Writ Petition is disposed of at this juncture.
