O R D E R: The petitioner states that he owns a house at Bellal village of Kadem Mandal, Adilabad District. On retirement from service, he is said to have settled at Adilabad. He states that he has decided to dismantle the house at his village and utilize the timber of the same, for construction of a house at Adilabad. He is said to have submitted an application, under Section 29, read with Section 68(1) of A.P. Forest Act, 1967, on 25.4.2002, before the respondent, seeking permission, duly enclosing the necessary certificates. His grievance is that no order has been passed thereon. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Forest. A.P. Forest Act and the Rules made thereunder, prescribe procedure for grant of permits, to enable the owner of a house, to transport the timber to a different place, for his personal use. A proforma is stipulated there for. The petitioner submitted his application about 4 years ago. There cannot be any justification for not disposing of the application, for such a long time. If the application suffers from any defects, the same have to be pointed out. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the application, dated 25.4.2002, submitted by the petitioner, within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
