2. Heard Sri M. Ram Gopal Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Government pleader for Services_I, appearing for the respondents. perused the material on record.

3. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner was appointed as School Assistant (Social) in the year 2002 and is presently working in Jayashanker Bhupalapally District. Following the reorganization of the state under the Andhra pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2O!4, cadre allocations were made vide G.O.Ms.No.317, cAD, dated 06.12.202t, placing the petitioner in Jayashanker Bhupalapally District. The Government, in response to representations from employees, issued G.O.Ms.No.21, GAD (SPF-I), dated 02.O2.2O22, laying down guidelines for inter_ local cadre mutual transfers. Later, the Government issued 2 - G.O.Ms.No.245, GAD, dated 29.I1.2024. inviting online applications for mutual transfers between 01.72.2024 anri 3L.12.2024. The petitioner submitted his online application on 18.t2.2024, seeking mutual transfer to Hanumakonda District with another teacher in the s;ame category. However, while other:;imilarly placed candidates wer-e granted mutual transfers under G.O.Rt.No.70, dated 21.03.2C25, and consequent proceedings were issued yde Rc.No.2B9lGen<zral/2O74, dated 28.03.2025, the petitioner,s name was excluded rarithout any reason or communication. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed the present Writ petition.

Learned c:unser for the petitioner submits that the petitioner applied for mutual transfer on 18.L2.2024, wiUrin the time prescribed under the relevant Government orders, and meets all the conditions frlr transfer, including acceptance of the last rank in the new cadre. severar simirarry praced candidates were granted mutual transfers, but the petitioner was wrongry excruded without any explanation. 5 Learned Government pleader for Services_I, appr:aring for the respondents, submits that the petitioner,s online application is pending with the Government, and that the Government, being the competent authrtrity, will take a decision and pa:;s orders in accordance with the rules and eligibility criteria prescribed under 3 G.O. Ms. No.245, dated 29. 11.2024.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties and on perusal of the records, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for mutual inter- local cadre transfer from Jayashanker Bhupalapally District to Hanumakonda District, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.245, GAD, dated 29.11.2024, read with G.O.Ms.No.21, GAD (SPF-I), dated

02.02.2022, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy oF this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
