02.02.2022, as illegal and arbitrary.

2. Heard Sri M. Ram Gopal Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Government Pleader for Services-I, appearing for the respondents. Perused the material on record.

3. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) in the year 2003 and is presently working in Rangareddy District. Following the reorganization of the State under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act,2014, cadre allocations were made vide G:O.Ms.No.317, GAD, dated. 06.12.2021, placing the petitioner in Rangareddy District. The Government, in response to representations from employees placed away from their families and on health grounds, issued G.O.Ms.No.21, GAD (SPF-I), dated 02.02.2022, laying down guidelines for inter-local cadre \-\-'1 \l \ 2 mutual transfers. Subsequently, the Governrnent issued G.O. Ms. No.245, C;AD, dated 29. 1 1. 2024, inviting online applications for mutual transfers between 0]-12.2024 and 37.12.2024. The petitioner submitted his online application on 37.L2.2024, seeking mutual transfer to Vikarabad District tryith another Secondary Grade Teacher, Smt. Babburu Sarika, who is in the same category/ subjec:, and mediqm. While other sirnilarly placed candidates were granted mutual transfers under G.O.Rt.No.70, School Education Department, dated 21.03.2025, and consequent proceedings were issued,'vtde Rc.No.2B9lGeneral/2024, dated

28.03.2025, the petitiorer's name was excluded without any reason or communication. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that ':he petitioner

4. applied for mutrral transfer on 31.12.2024, within the time prescribed under the relevant Government Orders, and meets all the conditions for transfer, including acceptance of the last rank in the new cadre. Several similarly placed candidates were granted mutual transfers, but the petitioner was wrongly excluded without any explanation.

Learned Goi,ernment Pleader for Services-I, appearing for the respondents, subr'rits that the petitioner's online application is i 3 pending with the Government, and that the Government, being the competent authority, will take a decision and pass orders in accordance with the rules and eligibility criteria prescribed under G.O. Ms. No. 245, dated 29.17.2024.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties and on perusal of the records, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for mutual inter- local cadre transfer from Rangareddy District to Vikarabad District, .in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.245, GAD, dated 29.11.2024, read with G.O.Ms.No.21, GAD (SPF-I), dated 02.02.2022, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
