ORDER:
Operative part
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the proceedings No.UBD.BSD(IV)/2790/12.03.1418 /2002-02 dated 17-01-2002 of respondent No.1 as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct it to consider the application of the petitioner for licence to carry on Banking Business under Section 22 of Banking Regulation Act, 1949. Though, initially interim stay was granted by this Court on 06-02-2002, thereafter, on filing vacate stay petition, said interim order was vacated by order dated 07-05-2002. Now the learned counsel for the respondents states that the petitioner has gone into liquidation and a liquidator was appointed and the liquidation proceedings were also completed by 05-09- 2002, therefore nothing remains this writ petition adjudication. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. ________________ C.V. RAMULU, J Date:16-11-2006. PV
