3. The case of the petitioners, in brief,'i5 that the petitioners belong to Mondibanda Community, which is B.C. de-notified nomadic Tribe. The petitioners have been living in the Government land admeasuring ranging 50 to 60 squads for the last 30 to 40 years and the Government had issued ration cards, Aadar cards and sanctioned Gas Cylinders to them. When the petitioners approached the respondents for providing electricity to their huts, the respondents refused to provide electricity connections to the petitioners' huts. Hence, the petitioners approached the Court by filing the present writ petition'

Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.2 and 3 placing reliance on the averments made at paragraph No.4 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent No.3, submits that the applications of the petitioners seeking electricity service connections can be considered only if the petitioners comply with the required conditions of General Terms and Conditions of suPPlY. q Dr r= r = nlr N o.4 af th e ? r r itta r d avit filed o bah: If of the resoondent No.3 is extracted hereunder: \ - "4. It is submitted that as per the General Terms and conditions of supply the following documents are -) wP 19748 2023 required for LT Services: 1) ID Proof (Aadhar/Driving License/PAN/Voter Card/ Passport) 2) Ownership Documents (Registered sale deed/Gift Deed/Lease Deed) 3) Pass Book/Patta document (in case of Agriculture customer-If applicable) 4) Certificate from MRO (in case of SC/ST consumers only). The applications of the petitioners can be considered only if they comply with the above referred conditions of GTCS".

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that in view of the fact that the application filed by the petitioners seeking regularization oF petitioners huts in terms of G.O.Ms.No.58 is pending for consideration, the applications of the petitioners for providing electricity connection to petitioners' huts without insisting the conditions as stated in paragraph No.4 of the counter affidavit could be considered and the respondents may be directed to provide temporary connections.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 to 3 further submits that upon the petitioners \ making Online applications for issuance of I wP 19748 2023 temporary connections as per the rules in force, the said applications will be considered by the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 in accordance to law, within a reasonable period. 8 Takino into (a) The aforesaid facts and circumstances of the nsideration: case, (b) The submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.2 and 3, (c) The averments made at paragraph No.4 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent No.3 (referred to and extracted above), The writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to make individua! applications seeking temporary connections for petitioners' huts located at Addagutta area in Sy.Nos. 74, 844/ L, situated at Mondibanda Nagar, Addagutta, Secunderabad, within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon receipt of the said Online applications from the petitioners duly complying with the required conditions as per the rules in force, the respondent Nos.2 I t \ To, wP t9748 2023 and 3 shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of two (2) weeks thereafter. ) However, there shall be no order as to costs.
