Aggrieved by the inaction of the Respondent No.2 in relusing to receive, register and release the sale deeds prcsented by the petitioner in respect of the agricultural land admcasuring to an extent of Ac.1.0300 guntas in Sy.No.89K1, an extent of Ac.0.300 guntas in Sy.No.g9L/2, arr extent of Ac.O. 17O0 guntas in Sy.No.ggJ/F,F', arid an extent of Ac. 1.2300 guntas in Sy.no.ggLll $otal land an extent of Ac.3.3300 guntas) situated at Burgupalle Village, Boinpalle Mandal, Rajanna Sircilla District, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. Learned Assistant Government Pleadcr for Stamps and Registration submits that without presenting the subject documents, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking registration of the said documents. If the petitioner present the sarne before the Registering authority, the respondents will receive the sarne and follow the procedure S contemplated under Sect.ion 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 (for short, the Act, 1908).

The Section 71 of the Act, 1908, reads as follows: Reasons for refusal to register to be recorde d.- (1) Every Sub-Registrar refusing to register a document, except on the ground that the property to which it relates is not situated within his sub- district shall make an order of refusal ald recorded his reasons for such order in his Book No.2, and endorse the words "registration refused" on the document; and, on application made by ally person executing or claiming under the document, shall, without payment and unnecessary delay, give him a copy of the reasons so recorded. (2) No registering officer shall accept for registration a document so endorsed unless and until, under the provisions hereinafter contained, the document is directed to be registered.
